SUP racers – up for a new kind of Technical Race challenge?
The North Sea SUP Classic returns on Sunday June 8th in Blankenberge with a completely new race format. You’ll compete in two heats: a fast-paced Mass Start, followed by a tactical Pursuit Heat. In the Pursuit, racers start in reverse order of their Mass Start finish — the last finisher starts first, the first one starts last.
But it’s the total combined time of both heats that will decide the podium. This new format rewards consistency, smart racing and endurance over a technical course of 2.4 km (Fun & Cadets) or 3.6 km (Elites).
The event is open to Elites, Cadets (U16) and Fun paddlers, and promises high-level racing along the Belgian coastline.
Entry fee: €25 (Elites) / €20 (Fun) / €15 (Cadets)
Register now for the Northsea SUP Classic through Twizzit before June 5 at 18:00, or register on-site (+€3 supplement).
