THE LONGEST DAY – ULTRA ENDURANCE SUP EXPERIENCE

The name says it all: The Longest Day is not just another race – it’s a full-day challenge of strategy, resilience and stamina. Set against the spectacular backdrop of the Eau d’Heure Lakes, this iconic BST stop invites solo paddlers and teams to push their limits over 10 hours of competition.

This race is held in collaboration with the 10 Heures de Vassivière, forming together the unique endurance combo: The Double 10 Challenge. Two events, each lasting 10 hours – but with entirely different formats:

• At Vassivière, the goal is straightforward: paddle as far as possible in 10 hours.
• In contrast, The Longest Day is structured as 10 individual races of approximately 6 km each, with one start every hour. The winner is the athlete who completes all 10 races in the shortest total time.

Athletes may choose to skip one or more rounds without being disqualified, but their ranking will be calculated only among competitors who completed the same number of laps. Consistency, pacing and smart energy management are just as important as speed.

Open to elites, recreational paddlers (on inflatable paddles), cadets and teams, The Longest Day offers a truly inclusive yet competitive setting. A festive atmosphere, passionate paddlers and a final BBQ round off this special day at Espace Fun.
